RSSEpisodes.com is powered by Django. In addition to the powerful Django framework it uses a few great applications. In particular django-tagging by Jonathan Buchanan and django-registration and django-contact-form by James Bennett.

The site is hosted on a virtual private server from VPSLand that runs Gentoo Linux. Django is deployed using FastCGI running on Lighttpd. Data is stored in a single Postgresql database. Multiple cronjobs update the database with fresh episode data several times a day.
